Rosanna

Rosanna saw the gutting and complete renovation of an existing tired bathroom in a character-filled weatherboard cottage. Despite its ineffectual setout, the fundamental bones of the space provided an abundance of potential, from the high ceilings to the generous window allowing ample natural light to spill into the space.

By moving the bathroom door away from the corner, the plan was fundamentally reconfigured to maximise storage potential whilst retaining an uncluttered serene space. The introduction of full height storage and a shower seat down the length of the room creates a central circulation spine, maximising use of the room’s square footprint.

Curved shower walls and a textured paint finish introduce subtle softness, enveloping the room in a tranquil atmosphere. The design captures the essence of the cottage’s charm whilst seamlessly blending modern functionally, offering a sanctuary that feels light and fresh.
